Anyone trying this at the moment?
I am going to test it over the course of December, which should help toward my Betfair Cashrace too!
December 5, 2019 at 2:00 pm #15579D4zzaMemberYeah, I usually make around £10-£20 from a £500 pot.
I lay the draw and back the 0-1 and 1-0. As the game progresses through the first half, back the 0-0 with the aim being that if it’s 0-0 at half time I can trade out for a small profit (or very small loss). If a goal occurs then I trade out when the market is un-suspended, again for a small profit.
It can be time consuming for small gains but along with other strategies, if I can get my pot up to say £2000 then I’d be looking more towards £50 per match, with a weekend perhaps giving me 5 or 6 opportunities for that profit. Only works with certain odds.
December 5, 2019 at 2:36 pm #15589BunnyMemberHello,
Im paper trading most of European Leagues, heavily influenced by Psychoff lol. Laying draw/winning team, overs, late in the game. Some games, You just got that feeling…there has to be goal. I found Champions League is great for late goals, great comebacks.

Basically youre safe on 1-0 0-1 1-1 2-1 and 1-2 before you need to even think about cashing out !!!
Sometimes if it goes 1-1 late on in the game, you can cash out for a decent profit and then hope there is another goal and win the lay bet as well !!!!
just an idea,,, hope it’s helpful !!!
ps,this is a good bet from ht onwards…the odds are usually a lot shorter!!!!
January 8, 2020 at 10:04 pm #17342BunnyMemberWhat if it ends up 0:0
Or 2:2
Or 3:3
Or 4:4
Doesnt happen that often, but when it does, it hurts and You are going to cry.

January 8, 2020 at 11:02 pm #17344rat69Memberyou are right bunny it does hurt,,,but the only hurt you will be risking is the 0-0
(and there always has to be a small risk)
but if a team go 2-1 up at any stage, you just cash out for a small profit.
rather than run the risk of a 2-2 3-3 4-4 etc as you stated….
the later on in the match, the bigger cash-out, don’t forget you are trading rather than gambling,
so you wouldn’t continue after a 2-1 scoreline !!!! x
so basically you are covered on any score up to 2-1!!!!
I usually do this bet if it is 0-0 at half time because the lay odds are a bit shorter x
January 9, 2020 at 5:39 am #17349BunnyMemberHello, So You hoping for a goal in second half. Is it worthwhile ? I mean laying draw for 100 at HT @2.5 let’s say = thats 150 liability, add another 50 to cover 1:1, thats 200 on every loss. What is Your average profit on winning trades 🙂

January 10, 2020 at 7:50 am #17391pnr8ukMemberI have a slight twist on this and it can be used on any match you are watching not just Premier League. So I look for games (as we all do I suspect) at around 75-80 mins with a 1-1 or more score line I don’t attempt 0-0, I did but they fail more often than not.
If I think there is a chance of a goal, I always have to be watching, I will LTD usually at about 1.7 1.8 the market still needs to think a goal is coming with my stake (say £100) I will then place 10% of my stake £10 on the correct score market. So if the game is 1-1 I will LTD and BACK 2-2 the odds at this stage in the game will be around 25 to 30. If a goal is scored then I cash out for my LTD profit and let the other bet run, I have already covered my loss so it’s a no-risk gamble. Sometimes there will be a chance to cash this out too but as I have entered very late it’s not always possible. Personally I let it run. Using this extra twist works around 1 in 10 and when it does it’s a very nice bonus.

Most value will do doubt be in the final 15 minutes.
