Hi all I’ve just started out an made £155 in welcome offers and simple “bet X get X free” offers.
ive made a few mistakes along the way but luckily haven’t lost anything, just broken even.
my question is, do you have to do Acca, casino and bingo offers to make a lot ? I’m looking to only make £20-£30 a day when my toddler has a nap (so far i have been making 20/40 a day)
complicated bets scare me!
Ive got about £300 across two exchanges atm if that helps
November 18, 2019 at 6:08 pm #14524RoxMemberHi Katie, you don’t have to no. Them things can make bigger returns but they aren’t so risk free if you are starting you have a good enough balance I would say find your way through the signups that are easier and then do the bet clubs and 2ups where possible. The 2ups might not drop every time but when they do you will hit your daily target and more in one go!

my assumption of the betclubs is that say it’s bet £25 quid a week to get a free bet… I’ll just do a £25 qualifying bet to unlock the free bet?
November 19, 2019 at 9:09 am #14552StephenModeratorYes that’s right Katie, although it depends on the bookmaker T&C’s. Some are just one £25 bet, others you have to bet £5 five times etc etc! Always check that before doing it.
There’s an excellent 2 Up guide on the Profit Rush Blog, have a read of that and you’ll understand it fully.
November 19, 2019 at 10:39 am #14557KatierippeMemberThanks for your reply, I had a look at the 2up offers and i have a few questions,
Is your back and lay essentially a qualifying loss type bet and then you only make a profit if 2up happens?
When it refers to cashing out once 2up has happened, this means you cash out from the exchange? As if you withdraw your lay from the exchange?
And the other option is to then back again once your initial back bet has been paid out early, because 2up happened. So then you have a back bet to counteract the lay that is still in place?
November 19, 2019 at 5:13 pm #14576StephenModeratorHi Katie,
Yes so setting up a 2Up is basically like a qualifying loss type of bet. Then when the bookmaker pays out (if 2UP happens), you can trade for a profit on the exchange.
For example when Liverpool went 2Up against Manchester City recently, they were still trading 1.35 on Betdaq so you could trade your exchange position having already been paid as a winner with Bet365.

In answer to your questions:
Is your back and lay essentially a qualifying loss type bet and then you only make a profit if 2up happens?
Yes this is correct. This is why it’s also important to select matches where you suspect there will be more goals scored. There’s another forum topic about it I noticed the other day.

When it refers to cashing out once 2up has happened, this means you cash out from the exchange? As if you withdraw your lay from the exchange?
Yes, the calculator will help you with staking because it is dependant on the in-play price.
Obviously you can’t cancel a previously placed bet, although you can place a back bet which effectively cancels it out, or a portion of, again dependant on the price/stake shown on the calculator in the later stage.
And the other option is to then back again once your initial back bet has been paid out early, because 2up happened. So then you have a back bet to counteract the lay that is still in place?
Yes. As per the answer to the previous Q. They are one and the same 🙂
To quickly recap:
- First back and lay is to cancel out against each other and qualify.
- Once the 2up happens you are awarded early payout
- Depending on calculator generated values, you can then back again (on exchange) whilst in-play to lock in your profit.
The beauty of this is that the stakes aren’t very restrictive, it happens fairly regularly and you can get some nice big results from it. Especially if the goals go in at the right time :). See the tips on which matches to pick via the thread above.
Thanks for you contribution, look forward to seeing your posts in the future!
Cheers,
