The Coronavirus might be stopping some sporting events around the world, but we must battle on and try to find some good 2 UP matches from the football that’s left.
If we’re going to be stuck in the house, we might as well try to make some money!

What You Need:
- Bet365 or Paddy Power (max payout £2,500) account
- An exchange account with an available balance big enough to lay back your bets
- You need to be familiar with using the Profit Rush Price Matcher and Bet Calculator.
Not got one? Get your account by clicking here (terms and conditions apply).
That’s all you need to get started, it’s simple! Let’s go through the steps so you can get the most money.
Step 1: Know the games. This weekend is going to be hugely impacted by the Coronavirus, with the La Liga fixture already postponed for the next two weeks. It might be a case of checking what’s on before you place your bets, but for the moment we should see a lot of the usual leagues take place behind closed doors.
Step 2: Look for the best matches in the Profit Rush Price Matcher.
Our Top 5 matches this weekend are:
- Chelsea to beat Aston Villa at 5-30pm on Saturday in the Premier League. Chelsea is 1.6 to back with Bet365 and 1.65 to lay on Betfair. The set-up cost for a £50 bet is £1.90.
- Southampton to beat Norwich at 3pm on Saturday in the Premier League. Southampton is 2.45 with Bet365 and 2.52 to lay on SMarkets. For a £50 bet again, the set-up cost is £1.98.
- Leeds to beat Cardiff at 1pm on Sunday in the Championship. Leeds are 1.83 with Bet365 and 1.89 to lay with Betfair. The £50 bet set-up cost is £2.05.
- QPR to beat Barnsley at 3pm on Saturday in the Championship. QPR is 2.0 with Bet365 and 2.08 to lay with Betfair. The set-up cost for £50 is £2.43.
- Toulouse to beat Metz at 7pm on Saturday in French Ligue 1. Toulouse is 2.8 with Bet365 and 2.92 to lay with SMarkets. The £50 set-up cost is £2.70.
So there are five nice 2 UP picks for this weekend. We have tried to stay with the UK matches as they look the most likely to take place this weekend. There are plenty of others available, check out the Profit Rush Price Matcher and have a look for yourself as the Coronavirus situation develops.
Lots of sport will be called off, however, there will still be events on. We’ll just have to focus on them.
Also, if you want to get a little extra for your bankroll, it’s a good tip to look at the expected goals markets. There’s no point wasting your bankroll on a game that’s short odds to finish 0-0. If your bank is small, you have to choose wisely. When you have a big bank you can do more matches but in a game with high expected goals, there’s more chance of a team going 2 Up!
Laying Off;
Step 3: Laying off on the exchanges. Now that we have found the best matches to choose from and placed our bets with Bet365 or Paddy Power we need to lay off on the likes of Betfair, Betdaq or SMarkets.
To do this we use the Profit Rush Bet Calculator to find the correct stake. We have already given you the cost above but you can easily find the correct stakes in the calculator!

Don’t know what a 2 Up Offer is?
A 2 Up Offer when the bookmaker pays out early if your team goes two goals ahead. If they then fail to win, you also get paid out on the exchanges. The key is finding very low set-up costs and you could hit the jackpot with a double win! There are also plenty of in-running options. For example, if your team goes 2 Up and you get paid as a winner with the bookmaker but the other team score – you can then trade for a profit on the exchanges.
