I have some free time during the week at the moment and I’d like to watch some of the races I put bets on from matched betting! I have At The Races for free, is Racing TV worth the money?

        Hi Aine,

Don’t forget ITV Racing! They will show all the big races. If you have Sky you can tune in ITV and ITV4.

That may not help you for during the week, but most of the bookmakers and exchanges have live streams that you could use then. AtTheRaces and ITV Racing are more than enough, there is no need to pay for Racing TV with all the available streams once you bet on that race you’d like to watch.

            Hi Aine,

Already pointed out there but the live streams are usually the quickest and cheapest option to get a view in. However, you might find you don’t get all the build-up etc. Occasionally if there is a problem at the track you’ll miss that too (for example an injury or delay).

Racing TV (formerly Racing UK) typically shows the best quality racing, with the better views surrounding them. For your matched betting its unlikely, this will make much difference but that’s the difference. For twenty quid a month you can’t really grumble, but from your comment, I wouldn’t really worry about it.

If you’re logged in to your Betfair account and have a bet matched on the exchange you can see them all here:

            Cheers,
            Caan

p.s. if you’re matched betting near to the off, just be aware there are delays between reality and streaming. Typically 2-8 seconds.
