        Hi Julia,

Yes you will have to be very careful on the match odds market for Tennis because of the different rules on retirements. We strongly advise you to read the T&C’s of each bookmaker on tennis before you matched bet with them as some of them vary. It would be highly unfortunate to lose a full stake because of a retirement.

To add to this – there are 3 types of tennis betting rules, of which one type there’s a different variation.

As the Admin above has said, be sure to check terms and conditions first.

The problem from a matched betting perspective comes if you are betting on tennis rule types 2 & 3. Bets can be voided with the bookmaker but not with the betting exchange.

It’s rare that they should come into play that often, but its certainly something to be cautious about if you are placing lots of or larger stakes than usual. I wouldn’t want anyone to get burnt fingers!
