Does anybody know whether having a VPN helps combat IESnare please?

I read this article about iesnare and how to block it. Maybe it will interest you. Here is the link

Can the procedure to permanently block ie snare be done before its found in your computer or do you have to wait until it’s been installed and you find it through a file search???

and one last thing, it’s named as ie snare or mp snare, are they both the same or do you have to do 2 separate searches???

As I understand it this ‘fix’ redirects anything information sent to those addresses to nowhere – or somewhere very close to nowhere – I’m not entirely sure 🙂 🙂

That means it can be applied before ieSnare is on your machine.

For myself, I’ve started to question whether it is worth doing. It’d be really easy for Iovation to see/realise that the information it is expecting isn’t arriving and that would be a red flag in of itself. I figure they are gonna catch you at some point so I’ve removed the block from my machine

But how would it be expecting information from iesnare if it’s not installed on the machine? I thought they had to sneak it on your machine first?

    Help I’m worried now!
