Has the forum died a death now?

It seems very quiet on here compared to the back end of last year when people were posting almost daily!

It seems the same on oher matched betting forums too. Is the community as a whole slowly dying away?

I don’t think so! We are all still here. Maybe we need to more put effort into creating a decent discussion.

We had some cracking offers towards the end of 2019 but there’s been a lot of Cup football since and that slows things down?

    Hi Bazza,

thanks for contributing, to answer your two questions…

    1. Is the forum dead?

There was a burst of activity last year when the site went live, which was expressed on the forum. Now it’s a little quieter, but dead is quite extreme, from looking at analytics many are reading the forum daily even though they don’t post!

Please so post more, if everyone just read there wouldn’t be anything…

    2. Is matched betting dying away?

I can’t comment about other forums decline but we’ve seen a lot of growth in users with more than 5,000 members since August so I think it’s far from over. In reality, matched betting will only disappear when bookies offers do – and that’s pretty much all they have to entice new users…

I think it’s more likely that the internet is more fragmented than ever and the ‘organic’ mediums of expression get less exposure now due to google and Facebook making everything paid. Organic context that’s free comes last for exposure.

its all certainly still happening from the amount of users each day logging in, just more likely they are thinly spread when expressing their opinions. I mean they have a choice from; here, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Reddit, medium, WhatsApp, discord and many more…

Its also likely that some don’t post as much on social media as much now for fear of gubbing. Bookies are trawling Facebook and the like for these purposes.
