Hi All,
As we come to the end of 2019 and look into 2020; how do you see the Betfair landscape changing?
We seen this year customers got to choose between three packages and different commission rates. Can you see that changing in 2020, or what changes do you see coming in? Bookmakers may come and go, but we need the exchanges to keep thriving!

I love the 2% I’m on now, obviously Betfair killing BetDaq & Smarkets with this promo, I’ve only used Betfair sinse this started. It would be terrible if BetDaq & Smarkets had to close.

Betfair know they are doing this to the others. I don’t actually mind as long as they don’t put commission back up to 5% after the other exchanges have gone!!!

Betfair commission will stay that low in my view as there is no way the other exchanges can beat them then

Is it not better to go on the 5% rewards plan and get some free bets and refunds as a matched bettor?
Julia I think it’s better to get the 2% basic commission rate in the long term. I read this week Betdaq are 0% on all the small sports like golf now but added terms to say they bet on their own exchange now too.
