Hello i’m just starting match betting but i have ran into a problem, i have so far successfully got my free bets on betfred (£40) and now i am wanting to complete the next step however i when i go to the next step the amount liable on the calculator is a lot lower than on betfair, i believe the commission on betfair is not the standard 5 percent but there may be an explanation for this any help would be appreciated.

Have you confirmed what commission plan you’re on with Betfair in your account? You could be as high as 8% which would throw the figures out a lot.
Find out in -> My Account -> My Betfair Account -> Promotions & Rewards.

Or of course use Smarkets, (my normal choice) for 2% commission.

Hello thanks for all the answers I have selected my plan on my betfair account I have chosen the 2 percent plan however this is not active till the end of the month and my current plan was the 5 percent one below is a screenshot which I believe is showing a different commission amount i may be wrong any help would be appreciated.
